Ruslana

She was a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Ukraine (2004-2005) and passionately fought against human trafficking in cooperation with the OSCE (2006). Ruslana was listed by Forbes as one of the most influential women of 2013 and received the International Women of Courage Award from the U.S. Department of State in March 2014. Since 2018, she has been an international ambassador for renewable energies – her foundation is called "renewable energy4ukraine."

Sons of Mannheim

With the goal of combining music and humanity, the SÖHNE MANNHEIMS have been making music together in a changing lineup since 1995. For almost 30 years now, they have stood for freedom and charity, openness and tolerance – and a compass of values that emphasizes respect and mutual respect. With the non-profit organization "Aufwind-Mannheim eV," which they founded, the band has been supporting socially disadvantaged children in Mannheim since 2001. Together with other bands, they recorded an album called "Erde & Mensch" (Earth & Human) in 2014, which draws attention to children in need. The sons draw attention to injustices, offer courage and love, create connections, and build bridges of understanding.

For example, they collaborate with the Rotary Club and various local (and global) organizations on ocean cleanup, tree planting, and more.

Dr. Ina Knobloch

She was honored for her global environmental commitment

Her first film and book about Costa Rica, focusing on biodiversity, became instant bestsellers. She founded the tropical and climate protection association Tropicaverde. She co-authored the book "Outcry of the Oceans" with Hannes Jaenicke. The award-winning filmmaker has produced numerous documentaries, primarily for ARD, ZDF, and ARTE, focusing on biodiversity and climate, culture, and history, as well as numerous nonfiction books and novels.

A total of 3,323,814 Nigerians have benefited from these cross-sector initiatives to date. He has contributed significantly to the tremendous rise of the Nigerian IT ecosystem as one of the most dynamic on the African continent.

Marijke Amado
