3. Beliefs, inclinations, abilities and skills

I live by two mottos:

1. Meet people where they are and take them along a future-oriented, worthwhile path.
2. What one person cannot do alone, many can do TOGETHER!

As a team player, I focus on working with growing communities in various ways, Goal:

Avoiding climate-damaging greenhouse gas emissions by converting the energy system to renewables in the electricity, heat and transport sectors as quickly as possible.

I consider the main task to be the implementation of our guiding principle, which was unanimously adopted on 8 May 2020 with 12 energy transition associations at the Renewable Energies Round Table: “100% EE by 2030 at the latest“To this end, we develop proposals, recommendations, and critical expert opinions, discuss government and parliamentary initiatives, promote synergies, and contribute to the energy transition through individual lifestyle changes.

My fields of activity encompass many areas of our everyday lives. I prefer to work in a variety of roles and tasks with people who are honest, transparent, considerate, and appreciative, who pursue (almost) identical scientifically sound goals with a high degree of interpersonal values.

My career has shown me that sound analysis and process-oriented, strategically targeted action are essential tools for continuous collaboration. Vigilantly pursuing this approach has led to a steadily growing network of people.

In my campaign “Cleaning of the nature reserve in the estuary of the Ahr into the Rhine“ I learned a new way of SolidAHRity among all the helpers, which I had not thought possible until now.

(Interim) Conclusion

I see my professional career and volunteer work as providing a solid foundation for helping shape the necessary transformation of the energy system to a renewable and predominantly regional energy system. This task is humanity's greatest challenge. We will succeed more successfully the more intensively we subordinate selfish behavior to consistent, professionally skilled action.

If we work together regularly, proactively, communicatively, participatively, honestly, and considerately, we will experience increased success in our work and approach. There is a powerful force in "working together interpersonally and goal-oriented." This new way of experiencing SolidAHRity releases new energies.

I am convinced that, in light of my comments, we will be increasingly successful in a constantly growing community in implementing our guiding principle, “Renewable energies by 2030 at the latest“ to help implement it more quickly.

The same applies to the project “Ahrtal becomes SolAHRtal“. The scientifically sound, technically feasible and citizen-oriented project proposal “Sustainable reconstruction and use of renewable energies in the Ahrweiler district“ of our SolAHRtal initiative (Ahr Valley? Solahr Valley! The project proposal of the SolAHRtal initiative (energiewende-2030.de), Project proposal_2.0_corr.pdf (energiewende-2030.de)) has therefore long since more than earned the courage to give decision-makers at the federal, state, and local levels the necessary impetus to get started. Only with a bold decision will a renewable energy model region in the Ahrweiler district gain enormous momentum and thus become a model for other regions.
As we all know, hope dies last.
